Born and raised in Mexico City, his passion for photography started at an early age influenced by amateur photographer family members. He majored in Communications at the Universidad Iberoamericana specializing in Cinematography and Film Production. One of the founding members of the A.M.C. (Mexican Society of Cinematographers)

In 1994 he began his career as a cinematographer and since then has worked for major production houses in Mexico, United States and Central America. Throughout the years he has also gained a vast knowledge in post-production and is always searching for fresh ideas to add into the projects.
